So Panama is weird. I still don't get how people can live and function in such hot weather (Lil, I really don't know how you do it). The air conditioning is another thing I don't get. You go from melting on the street to freezing everywhere you go. I'm not used to such extreme temperatures *hugs the 16ºC average of Bogotá*

I didn't get the wii but I did get a lot of clothes and a perfume, some make up, some anime stuff, food and a voice recorder I needed for work. I had fun but I really couldn't live somewhere the only thing to do is going to the mall because it's too hot to think of going anywhere else.

To each their own. Maybe I'm just too obsessed with Bogotá or something ^^;;

Panama

I'm in Panama.

A cousin called me Thursday night to offer me the trip and Saturday I was here in Panama. We came for a wedding and we are leaving again tomorrow night so if I've been absent that's why. I hope things are going great with all of you.

Went to the Panama Channel yesterday so now I can say I've been there. I really wish I was more excited about the boat going through the channel quite slowly but I was mostly hot and thinking about the sunscreen I should have applied before going to the channel. *shrugs*

I played poker at the casino last night. That was fun! I won $15 which isn't much at all but I only gambled $10 and played for like 2 hours... I'm going back tonight ^-^

I'm doing shopping, kind of. The Wii is tempting me... I want that just to play Guitar Hero World Tour. Do any of you have it? is it worth it?? Should I just be a responsible adult and refrain? Any other cool shiny I should get instead??? Decisions, decisions... *ponders*

I'm back!

I had lots of fun and managed to get a tiny bit of sun during the trip. I went to a seminar and the people were cool and we went to very cool parties. There's this club called Coco Bongo in cancun where they have really cool shows and stuff. That was fun.

Other than that, I brought home a few souvenirs and a cold. Air conditioning and me don't get along.

So, is anyone here HP oriented? Would any of you write something for [livejournal.com profile] stagnight's Back to School Fest, please? Pretty please? Feed my James Potter obsession?

In other news, I need help. What should I dress up as for tonight? I think I'm going with a kimono thing but there has to be a cooler costume, I just have no idea what. Any help? Ideas? anything?

Have a Happy Halloween everyone! *sends zombies*

Hello, everyone. I'm just making a small post, now that I got a little time of internet access, to let you know that I'm okay. I arrived in Tel Aviv after lovely 32 hours of travel... but yeah, to get here it was worth it. It's very cool being here again. It feels different than what it did last time but still wonderful. I love Jerusalem so much and I was happy to be able to walk through the old city again. Well, I'll have to go now. *loves you all* I won't be replaying to anything until I get back but I had a chance to read your comments to various posts and they made me very happy. Have a wonderful end of year *huggles*

Today is Colombia's Independence Day *waves flag* So in honor of that, I'm making a list of ten simple things I love about Colombia.

1. La gente – The people
2. Los Paisajes – The landscapes
3. Las montañas – The mountains
4. El mar – The Sea
5. La arepa – I can't translate this, sorry.
6. El ajiaco – See above.
7. Los raspaos de pueblo – Small town's ice lollies.
8. El hecho de poder comprar lo que quieras en un semáforo – The fact that you can buy anything in a stop light.
9. Los mercados de las pulgas – Fly markets
10. El café - Coffee

¡Feliz 20 de Julio!

----

My trip was great. I had a lot of fun. I'll see if I can share piccies later. For the moment, here is a pic of the lake.

Three things I learnt from the trip:
- When you get a flat tire, an innocent look and the damsel in distress act will get you a long way.
- Driving a boat is harder than it looks
- Perverting sixteen-year-old boys is a lot of fun.

¡Viva Colombia!

I've only seen 2% of the world. That's sad.

I need to go to so many places, here is a list:

1) My best friend and I, promised each other a few years ago that we would make a trip to New Zealand (because she is a Xena fan) and to Japan (I bet you can guess why). We have to go together and we have to go to both places. I hope we can do it soon.

2) My University friends and I, need to go to Argentina: Gardel, Tango, Borges, Sábato, Cortazar, need I say more?

3) Egypt: This one is really frustrating since I lost a good chance to go there. I spent three months in Israel a few years ago. It was a school trip and my best friend and I, decided that since we were going to be so close we would go to Egypt. It was a simple 4 hour bus trip, we already had our vaccine shots, there was no problem with the visa...

"What happened?" you ask.

Well, it was a school trip and they wouldn't let us leave the country... If we did they would send us back.
*sighs* I understand that it was a big responsibility but it's still frustrating... I lost count of how many times I stood in front of a fence and the tour guide would say "Egypt is at the other side".

So close but yet so far.

4) Greece: I just need to see Athens.

5) I need to go back to Jerusalem, I love that city so much!

There are many, many other places I would like to go, but if I can only go to those six, I'll be a really happy girl.
