So Panama is weird. I still don't get how people can live and function in such hot weather (Lil, I really don't know how you do it). The air conditioning is another thing I don't get. You go from melting on the street to freezing everywhere you go. I'm not used to such extreme temperatures *hugs the 16ºC average of Bogotá*

I didn't get the wii but I did get a lot of clothes and a perfume, some make up, some anime stuff, food and a voice recorder I needed for work. I had fun but I really couldn't live somewhere the only thing to do is going to the mall because it's too hot to think of going anywhere else.

To each their own. Maybe I'm just too obsessed with Bogotá or something ^^;;

I hate going from blast furnace to air conditioning. It's the reason so many people get sick during the summer. Believe it or not you do get used to it to some degree after a while. The heat I can deal with better than day after day of clear blue sky it makes me want to scream.

The air conditioning always makes me sick. I didn't turn it on at all this trip and I think I'm ok. I love the rain so I get how it would be frustrating to have sunny weather always. *sends some clouds your way*

I was born in Northern California so when we moved to Arizona we went from months and months of clouds and rain to months and months of blue skies so it was a bit disorienting. Given the choice I'd go back to clouds in a heartbeat.

oooh, going from one extreme temperature to another always makes me feel soooo listless. i'm too cold or too hot to accomplish anything. it's good you just went for a vacation :) and it sounds like you did do some fun shopping XDDD

it's GOOD to be obsessed with your hometown! makes living there extra nice!

I love it here! I'm one of those people who's never sad about a vacation ending because I'm going back home. You know, I had to buy a bag before coming back because when i was packing I realized there was no way I could hold all the new stuff in the one I took there ^^;;

It was slightly amusing in to read this because the heat where I am in now in the thirties and I'm melting just a little. I always get the sniffles when I am in air conditioning for long periods of time.

Maybe you are! But at at least you live the city of your choosing and love it :)

That's just too too hot for me. We don't have seasons here and the only time I'm in a place as warm as that I have on a bathing suit and there's a large body of water near by *nodnod*

*hugs Bogotá* I do love it here ^-^

It is too hot. But my ideal temperature is in the twenties, which I know some people consider very hot weather. But when it gets below 15 degrees I'm usually complaining about how cold it is. While yesterday I saw that it was -29 in Chicago. I can't imagine it being that cold!

Yay! ^_^

In Louisiana (and probably Panama), it's the humidity as well as the heat that is a killer. Most places here have air-conditioning and keep it pretty cool so I'm used to the extremes. But in winter we don't put the heat on full blast. It was strange to me when I went up to New York in December that so many places were stifling hot indoors.

Humidity is horrible. It was humid there but I've been to more humid places. Actually, 3 hour drive from Bogotá and you'll get to a really humid one. In Bogotá we don't have air conditioning or heaters. We don't need them. You either put on a sweater (or hide under the covers) or open a window and that's it...

I don't usually like the heat, but it's so cold right now in Pennsylvania that I'd actually be grateful for a little of it. ^_^

The cold sounds really bad. Here we complain about the cold but it's really not so bad, nothing a sweater can't take care of. Winter cold is really evil.
