It's a pairing I don't think I've read by you, but it's one of my big crack pairing loves: How about 13x4? ^__^

You are right, I've never written 13x4 and actually, I've never written Treize.

This is one of the few Quatre pairings I don't go for that much. For me, it's more difficult to see the relationship possible, even in AU, so I don't read many 13x4 fics. There are a few reasons I don't see this happening: Quatre and Treize never met in the series, they are fighting on opposite sides, and I always pictured Treize with Lady Une and/or Zechs. However, I do understand the appeal of the pairing, and even learned to enjoy it. I like to think that by coming from similar backgrounds Treize and Quatre could have a lot of things in common. I especially like the idea of them knowing each other and even being friends before the war, and then finding themselves fighting each other. Still, I'm not a big shota fan so the age difference does create a problem for me. You could say I have mixed feelings about the pairing. I don't read it that much, but I have certainly found beautiful 13x4 fics. I don't think I'll ever write it but I can enjoy a good 13x4 once in a while. The pairing is very interesting.

Gravitation: Hiro and Shu

Hiro and Shuichi is a pairing I would like but that I don't see being more than friendship. Hiro is one of those characters that I like immediately. He's a very good friend, caring, smart, good looking and a musician. It's clear from the beginning that Hiro and Shuichi are best friends. They have a great relationship that shows a history and many memories. However I see their relationship as one of those life long friendships that would last forever rather than a romantic affair. In a way, this connection is deeper than anything they could have with a lover because when or if they break up with their respective matches, they know they'll always have their friend.

You know, at first I didn't like 2x4x2. I can blame that on some terrible fics I read a long time ago that convinced me, for a few months, that 2x4x2 wouldn't work. *shakes head* I'm glad those days are over.

Anyway… I've always loved Duo and Quatre. They are both great characters and from the beginning I could see them having a close relationship. At first I saw them only as friends, but very good and close friends. I could see them going around causing trouble, having good conversations, and in general just being care free when they are together.

I can't tell you the exact moment I started to see 2x4x2 as a possibility. I don't remember. However, I can tell you why I see it now. As I said they have a great friendship, so that's a good way to start. They are friends who could have great sex together, who could try a relationship and even if it doesn't work they would still be friends. I guess that's the thing I love about them; they are too close to let themselves be separated. I could picture them having many fights but I can never picture them not talking to each other. I think they have that kind of relationship where when something good happens to one of them he needs to call the other; where they don't need to speak to understand each other; where they have learnt so much from each other that you can see trails of Duo in Quatre and vice versa, and some things that are simply part of both.

Friends or more, 2x4x2 (2+4+2) will always be in my heart.

This is the first yuri pairing that really, really attracted me. The thing about Dorothy and Relena is that they challenge each other. They have very different views and act in a very different way but they both recognize the intelligence in the other and that makes them respect each other.

Not many dare to contradict Relena and get in her face, and after the annoying fanclub she had at the beginning of the series, Dorothy would be someone to whom Relena could be really open and honest. I think Relena appreciates the fact that Dorothy values her but doesn't put her in a pedestal. That would be the way for Relena to open herself to a much more intimate relationship.

Dorothy is a very complex character. In the series you could see her studying every move Relena made, testing her, and at the end, finding her very worthy. Dorothy values people strength of character, and Relena has showed Dorothy that she is very strong. Relena is strong enough to see beneath Dorothy's cold masks and kind enough to get through to her. I can see them having a kind of intimacy that they couldn't have with anyone else. A relationship that combines trust, admiration and devotion; that type of love.

Kenshin and Kaoru

K&K is my one and only OTP.

RK was the first anime I fell in love with and K&K was from the beginning my perfect couple. They both care so much about each other; even if they don't show it very openly. Kaoru understands Kenshin and accepts him for what he is, and that includes his present as well as his past. She is the force that grounds him and what allows him to conquer his dark side and open up to living again. They were lost before they met and then they found love and were able to grow together. It's just meant to be.

*Taps chin* I could be nice and pick an easy one from GW...but where would the fun be in that? Still I can't decide between Kohaku/Chihiro (Sen to Chihiro--it was on your interest list ^_^) and Tatsuha/Ryuichi...

I can talk about both.

Chihiro and Kohaku is just meant to be. I love how he tries to protect her all the time but she is not a little lost girl who needs saving all the time, and she can help him too when it's necessary. I especially liked the fact that they met before. By the time Chihiro arrives at the spirit world Kohaku has already saved her once. I like to see them as one of those pairings that had a first faithful meeting and that no matter what, they would always meet again, and take care of each other, even if they don't know exactly why they care. I like to think that after the events in the spirit world they will meet again.

Ryuichi is my favorite character of Gravitation. He's eccentric, cool and has a great voice, of course I love him. I could definitely see him having a thing with Tatsuha but nothing very serious. I think Tatsuha idolizes Ryuichi too much and Ryuichi wouldn't really like that. He's very carefree about his fame so I don't think having a relationship with someone who admires him that much would be possible. Still, that doesn't mean that they can't get together and have lots of fun.

Sanosuke/Tsukioka Tsunan

To tell you the truth, I don't go very much for yaoi pairings in RK. I have never read or written a yaoi RK fic, but that doesn’t mean that I can't see the pairing. Sano and Tsukioka have and old friendship and a history which makes them really close, and of course the possibility of a relationship is there. However, I think Sano would see him more as his childhood friend and comrade than a romantic interest. For me, they are really good friends, the kind that joke and tease each other and drink together until they pass out. Nothing more.

Heero and Quatre.

1x4x1 is one of my guilty pleasures. I think the real reason behind it is that I love how Heero and Quatre interact together. They have a very different relationship with each other than the one they have with any other character. They act different when they are together and I think that's because they are so similar and different at the same time. Quatre and Heero understand each other and their way of thinking. I think they always have the same problems in mind: They want to live up to their expectations, they are perfectionist, they feel they need to take the world on their shoulders. However, what's interesting is that they both take different routes to get to the same place. They are like two sides of the same coin, and that's what allows them to be so close. They trust each other because they recognize the same issues they are having in the other. In my opinion that allows them to be closer and more intimate with each other than to any other pilot. What they have together is simply unique.
