1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
Lets see... wrote a thesis? But that's boring, there has to be something cool there too... hmm... I really should be able to thin of something. I know, went to Tropicana, the cabaret on Cuba.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't make those.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Nope.
5. What countries did you visit?
Cuba! Yeah, baby!
6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
Hmm, probably a job, since I can't use the "I'm a full time student" excuse and it would make me a bum.
7. What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
I'm too bad with dates.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Finishing classes, getting the thesis done...
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not pushing myself hard enough.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I've been horribly sick these last few days and I sprained my ankle at the beginning of the year. Hurt like a bitch.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
*grins* Home theater system.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Hmm... I don't know. My advisor was great... hmm.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
I can't think of anything.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Movies, food and booze.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
The trip to Cuba. It was awesome!

Not sure, maybe Franz Ferdinand stuff, The Killers...
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? About the same I think.
ii. thinner or fatter? Thinner, but because I've been sick this last few days and it took a toll on my body.
iii. richer or poorer? The same.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Push myself maybe.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Waste time thinking instead of doing.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
I don't celebrate so it's a normal day.

Nope. Don't believe in love and all that.

None. I'm a good girl. ^_^

Hmm, I followed Lost and liked Boston Legal too, Recently getting into Grey's Anatomy also.
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Nope. I don't believe in hate.

I haven't read that much this year *shame* but I did re read Pedro Páramo by Juán Rulfo which is one of my all time favorites.
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
White Stripes, I think.
28. What did you want and get?
Go to Cuba, doing well on the thesis.
29. What did you want and not get?
The only thing I can think of is that I didn't want my mom to catch my flu but I managed to pass it to her :(

I watch so many movies a year, I can't think... I liked Sin City, Harry Potter, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and I'm sure I'm missing some.

Went to a restaurant, got great food, smoke Arabian pipe and got wasted ^_^. 22.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
If my hair didn't get so tangled so easily. Really, I spent so much time trying to untangle it... *winks*
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?
Comfortable, low shoes, no socks, low jeans, light t-shirts and for the first time in many years, a skirt.

Writing and reading fics, music, friends (on and off line).

I don't do that, really...

I keep my head in the clouds and far away from politics.

Thankfully, they people I care for have been here.
