Today's Quatre and Duo sentence.

6. Rain

Rain had always been the enemy – it was cold, wetted the streets and made people sick – until one day, from the library window, Duo watched Quatre jumping from one puddle to the next, without caring how wet his clothes could get; and curious, Duo had walked outside to get reacquainted with the rain.

Sometimes we forget that they are all boys, forced to grow to fast, but still boys. I like to think that now and then they can steal some of that childhood back, if only for a moment.

because my thoughts run that way... reading this line: Quatre jumping from one puddle to the next, without caring how wet his clothes could get - I got the mental image of Quatre, Christopher Robin-like, in rain slicker and too bigger rubbers, jumping from puddle to puddle in the rain. :) just too cute.
