Dec. 6th, 2004 02:50 ammisanagiI decided to start posting the gift fics/ icons as soon as I have them done. I thought it was better than posting 14 fics on the 25th. I'll be posting the banners later so you still have time to ask for a fic or an icon as a present.
Anyway, here's the first ficlet...
Unusual

"Shit!"
Quatre smiled and continued. He had never heard Heero swear before, and he had seen Heero in many situations that deserved some serious swearing. Heero had always been a very controlled person. They had fought a war together and they both had learned to face death many times, without as much as batting an eyelash.
"You are so…"
Leaving sentences hanging in the air wasn't something Heero usually did. He was a methodic man, used to finishing one thing before starting another. Also, Heero only talked when he wanted to, he wasn't one to regret his words halfway through.
"God, Quatre!"
Quatre didn't think that Heero believed in God. The few times they had discussed religious beliefs Heero had always showed himself reluctant to believe in a greater power that determined his faith. After the training and the war, Heero was ready to take control of his life, and no divine entity was going to take that away from him.
"Faster…"
That was a word Heero used frequently. He was used to giving orders and to being obeyed. However, the tone sounded strange, especially while giving an order. It was softer; it sounded more like he was exhaling than talking. It sounded almost like a plea.
"Please!"
But Heero didn't beg. He was a proud man who said things in a very direct way. Pleasantries were almost never needed. Quatre decided that if Heero was begging, it must be for something he really wanted.
If Quatre's mouth hadn't been busy with other activities he would have told him, "your wish is my command." But since that wasn't an option, Quatre decided to show him. He stopped teasing and relaxed his throat, giving Heero just what he had been asking for.
"Quatre!"
By then, it would have been foolish to think that Heero didn't scream that way. Even if it was the first time Quatre had heard his name spoken that way, or if he had never imagined that Heero could show so much happiness in his face.
Quatre swallowed, changed his position, and rested his head on Heero's chest. Heero had his eyes closed, and was already drifting asleep but he still managed to say one last sentence.
"I love you."
And that was something Heero always did, even if he didn't verbalize it often, Heero always loved.

Given Heero's demeanor, it may indeed seem unusual to hear him beg and plea. But then again, I've always known he could be quite vocal when given the right stimulation.
