I'm Back! (This time for good)

Well, I'm back from my trip to Cartagena.

I had a good time, but now I'm really tired, and I think the flight wasn't that good for me since I'm not hearing very well from one ear and things tend to move from time to time. Other than that, I have a nice tan and I only dehydrated once (go me).

Classes started Tuesday, and I have class at 8 am today. *sigh* The things you do to learn Japanese.

The good news is that I have more than half a chapter of Sandstorm written longhand. Now I only have to type it, and write the rest, and revise it, and send it to the betas, and wait for them to send it back, and then tweak, and then post. ^^;;

There are no pics of this trip. I have one of Cuba uploaded in my picture archive so far but I still need to upload the rest.

I'm still catching up with things and it will take a few days.

Hex, I got you another postcard. And I hope your hand is ok.

Also, I made a new layout before I left but there were still some things to tweak. It's ready now. What do you think? (misanagi)

The vertigo will go in time. I had it for the first few days when I arrived here. It's gone away after food and sleep, especially the food. :)

What's weird about the vertigo is that I've never had it before and it was only a 40 min flight. I mean, when I came back from Cuba I was fine, and that was a 3 and a half hours. I understand your vertigo, your flight to NZ was very long, but my was so short. Oh well... *eats anyway just to be sure* :)

Wow, thanks so much, really. I would *love* a drabble. ^____^. About the couple, anyone with Quatre will do (aren't I predictable?) I like any pairing that involves him, so go ahead and write he pairing you like. As long as Quatre is in the story (a lot), I'm happy.

Details... *thinks* Of course I want a cool strong Quatre (but I don't need to tell *you* that), and I think I'm in the mood for a grown up Quatre. In his 20's maybe? just not a teen anymore. The rest... surprise me. I trust you and Sphinx and I'm sure I'll love whatever you come up with.

Hey! *hugs* Welcome back. I love the new layout - it's so perfectly you. I tried to make one of my own, but I don't know enough about how the layouts are made quite yet. I'll fiddle around with it when I'm feeling better and try to teach myself. Anyway, yours looks _fabulous_.

Also, I'm sorry to hear about your foot - that must have _really_ hurt, and it can't be easy on your campus. Do you have crutches or anything? You have the weekend off, don't you? - maybe it'll heal up enough that you can move on it without too much pain by Monday. *hugs* Stay off it as much as you can, and take care.

I'm glad that you liked the layout. It was fun to make. I took a free style from the site I credited and then changed the graphics, links, wording, colors and a few minor style things. I know nothing about making styles either. I did this by trial and error, so you can imagine how long it took, but I'm happy with it. If you want any help with your style, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

My foot is better now, thanks. Last night was hell, and I think I only managed to sleep two hours because the pain kept me awake. I'm at school now, and I'm better. I'm walking better than yesterday and it doesn't hurt nearly as much as it did last night, so that's good.
