1. Tell me about Bogotá. What would you take me to see if I was visiting?

You do know you could have me talking about my city for hours, don't you? Well it is beautiful, it's surrounded by beautiful mountains and the weather is great. Well, I like it at least. It's a little cold and sometimes it rains but you might as well get some really sunny days.

Places I would take you:

Monserrate: A mountain beside the city where you can see whole Bogotá. Ok, that's a postcars but I wanted you to get the idea.

La Candelaria: Downtown, the old part of the city, filled with houses in colonial stiles and the streets are still made of stone.

There we can see the Presidential Palace

La Catedral Primada

Or the city hall:

I would also take you to the bullring

And if you let me, I would definitely take you dancing. I'm pretty sure you would like dancing Salsa and after a few shots of Aguardiente I'm sure you would have a great time. *winks*

Here is another pic so you see we also have modern buildings here.

2. How did you get into studying languages?

I've always liked them and I really find interesting learning to express myself in different languages. You can study two carriers at the same time in my university so I thought I would give it a try and it would fit with my other one, literature.

3. I read a few of your stories - you have a very introspective style. What inspires that?

I think what happens is that when I write my mind is always screaming "why?". I like to play with characters and put them in different situations but I also like to know what they are thinking and what the reasons behind everything they do are. I think that is very important, what drives someone to do something... that's the real question I want to answer when I write.

4. The lyrics you post evry so often - do you decide on those ahead of time or do they just strike you at the moment you're typing?

Both actually. Sometimes I think of a song that fits the post in the moment I'm writing it and other times I just want to use something special. And occasionally I've search for something difficult just to keep Arcada from wining *winks*

5. An easy one to finish - how did you meet our friend Anne?

Long version:

Once upon a time, a young and innocent little girl decided to enter the mysterious place they call Gundam Wing Fanfiction. Deciding soon that she had a special liking for a certain blond pilot (no offense, Trowa, I love you too), she decided to search for stories about him. Soon she discovered the awful truth and learned that in a world so vast as GW fanfiction, lived horrible pieces of fiction that scarred her for life. (She is still getting over the NCS fic involving a bastard Heero, a wimpy Quatre and a stuffed camel *shakes head*) But, Misanagi, being the brave girl she was, didn't give up and continued her quest to find good Quatre stories. One day she found one called Missing Pieces by a certain Anne Olsen. She read it, she loved it and she left a review. Days later she found a mail from the author thanking her for the feedback. The amazing thing was the sig of said mail where at the bottom; she could find a link that said 'Society in the Defense of Quatre's Balls'. Misanagi's eyes opened wide and after a moment of thanking the heavens, she followed the link. What she found was a paradise of amazing Quatre stories and fantastic authors. After spending some time lurking and worshiping the authors; Misanagi finally had the courage to write and post something of her own. The poor an innocent girl didn't have a beta reader and included in her post a plea for one, for she knew she was torturing the readers with poor grammar and spelling. Great was the girl's surprise when none other than the list owner herself answered the call. From then on, Anne has been annoyed by multiple beta readings and fic stalking by Misanagi. In return, Anne started the quest to pervert the poor innocent girl and destroy her sweet and impeccable reputation. They remain friends to this day.

Short Version:

SDQB and she is my beta :)

I always enjoy reading answers to these interviews.

However, I did have to snort re some of your comments to question number 5. Please, you're not STILL trying to pull the poor innocent thing perverted by others ploy.

*rolls eyes*

After all we all know that /I/ was the sweet and innocent one before we met.

*winks*

And you're a case and point as to why I answer feedback with my email sig attached to the bottom. *grins*

*Hugs*

Well, no one said I couldn't. My first guess, given that she was watching the Disney channel was the Spanish version of "It's a Small World Afterall." Fortunately, my daughter reads Spanish and told me it wasn't.

*Laughs* That would have been:

Que pequeño el mundo es
Que pequeño el mundo es
Que pequeño el mundo es
Que pequeño es

Yes, quite simple.

Fortunately, my daughter reads Spanish and told me it wasn't.

Thank God for Marirose!

Ekhymosis. But you were very close.

So, you found it on Google? I need to be more careful or maybe change my strategy *ponders*

You do know that you get to pick your prize, don't you?

So, what do you want?

Great interview. :)

Thanks!

I'm tempted to say "send coffee!" but on more sober refection of postage fees, tariffs and Lord knows what else . . .

How about a ficlet (pairing your choice) less than 500 words with coffee in it? Making, drinking, enjoying, is that fair?

Feel free to send me your address and I'll mail some to you. *winks*

That sounds fair. I'll add it to the 'to write' list.

Oh god, Bogota (sorry 'bout the accent, it was making the text go funny) looks beautiful. The architecture is to die for *whimper*

I'll visit. I hate living in snowed-in log cabins. Not chic.

Do you have mean spiders?

Thanks a lot! I love my city and I love talking about it. The architecture is really pretty.

Please do. I'll be happy to give you the tour and show you everything. I've never seen snow...

Do you have mean spiders?

Not really.
