Whatever it was that made Tezuka stay he never regretted it. From Stay
Sometimes Sirius stares. From Allowances
Quatre's watching Trowa drink. From Prowl (This one isn't really mine. I wrote this during last months writeathon and it was a challenge to take the first line of someone else's fic. I used
thejennabides story The End of Breath. The original first line is: "Quatre's watching Trowa sleep.")
Tezuka stood in front of the door several minutes after Yumiko had closed it, looking at the blue paint and the small cracks in the wood. From Linger
He was just a boy. From Player's Hands
"Cookies?" Heero looked down at the plate. From Sharing
"My sister used to be allergic to pollen. From Sting
"I brought you some food, captain," Auda said as he entered the room balancing a tray in one hand and some files in the other. From Hindsight
What sucked the most, Quatre Winner thought as he dragged himself through the cold, wet forest, was that his watch had broken. From For Luck

"This isn't fair!" yelled Duo as he was led to the dungeon. From The Thief and the Prince
Quatre had realized, very early on in his life, that people around him didn't see the things he did. From Colors in the Wind
Hilde Shbeiker quickly gathered the make-up scattered all over the table and put it inside her bag. From The Dead Will Come
Through the busy streets of New York people rush by every day. From Moto Perpetuo
It was the gossip at the water cooler. From Love Advice
He glared at the mirror on the left wall of the room. From Wind of Change
"Why?" Duo moaned. From Tamales
Many of his men had been hurt in the fight with Quatre's ship and the subsequent attack of the sea creature but Heero still gave the order to set on the repairs of the ship immediately. From The Curse
He had been picked in a test, just like everyone else. From Forty Miles of Bad Road
A pattern you say? Well, I mostly start with an action, as if you picked the story in the middle of the scene and build from there. Most of these are that way. There are several that start with dialogue too. I don't do well building an atmosphere before I start the action. i like going directly to what the characters are doing and thinking before setting the background. The only exception in this list is Moto Perpetuo that needed the stage set before I had Trowa and Quatre walk in, like a concert. Other than that, well, Quatre's name is mentioned quite a few times ^^;;
