Perhaps not :( not without locking of the post at least. But they seem to be only targeting what is in your interests so far. Hopefully it'll stay that way and everything will die down.
We'll see what happens. I had a really bad feeling since I noticed that pornish_pixies was suspended... I don't want to lock my fics, that would feel very wrong.
I've seen that too and was surprised, simply because it was such a big community. I read that the mod is going to try and repost everything in a new comm excluding the under 18 and incest fics that is.
For the record, neither the GW nor the Ouran kink memes will be locked, ever. I back them up every day, so even if I lost my journal for some reason - which no longer appears to be a risk - I would be able to restore everything somewhere else.
Give it a week or two for the wank to subside and the spooge to dry. ^^;; Then, we'll see. We'll probably have more official word from lj at that point, too.
It' sad, this thing is making me sad. *hugs back* I'm half asleep here, haven't had time to sleep much this last couple of days. I hadn't icons in a long while, it's good to have photoshop back, even if I don't have as much time, it's good to know it's there.
Essentially, an internet vigilante has been going around reporting various communities for offensive & illegal behavior in an effort to PROTECT THE CHILDREN OMG. As a result, they've been TOS'ed, and anyone with offensive/illegal interests is being suspended as well.
They seem to be going after chan/shouta and incest right now, though there are rumors that the vigilante people are going after slash now, too.
I didn't have any suspicious interests to begin with, but I've replaced all mine with "Freedom Of Speech" anyway.
I will soon. Not because there's been a statement and stuff but because I'm waiting to have the time. Busy busy... I was waiting to write a last one to complete a set of 10 but I think I'm good with 9.
