I have a friend who has the sims and wants to know what does she have to download to be able to make them gay. Do any of you know what she has to do? Please?
I don't play the sims myself, but I thought one only had to turn up the relationship/love parameters and they turn gay automatically? o.o; It seems I was misinformed!
I don't play either and have no idea about that but my friend said she needs to download something, she just doesn't know what... I figured someone on my f-list would know.
Each sim is naturally bisexual. To fall in love, all they have to do is spend a lot of time with that certain special sim, give them hugs, flirt, maybe a peck on the cheek, and then make sure that the other one is happy when they swoop in for the kiss. If the flirt option is closed, it's probably because one of the sims is in a bad mood.
And no downloads necessary, I promise. Whenever I'm home from school, I spend some quality time indulging with Heero and Duo sims that fall in love and do... stuff. In Sims and Sims2.
Yup. Sims come with natural bisexuality. Just work on getting them to spend time together and having fun, then go for hugging, flirting, and so forth. It helps if they are in a good mood; it makes them happier to be with other Sims. Also, check their compatibility: some types of Sims react better to other based on their temperament.

*nods* Most of my Sims are gay. *g* ... I just make sure they spend lots of time together chatting and flirting, and then I make them sleep in the same bed. *bg* It's all good wholesome fun.
As everyone else has said they're naturally bisexual. The only thing they can't do is get married. They can however adopt kids. They can also bring over a child from a previous het relationship.
I think she said something about downloading something for them to get married? Now I'm getting confused myself, specially since I don't play and I'm just being the messenger here. Thank you for answering *hugs*
Its possible there is a patch that will allow for that. If she wants to kill anyone off let me know. The kid knows all the ways there is to know off a sim.
Like many have said before me, every Sim is bisexual so, basically, to make them 'gay' you just have to put two guys in a house and make them talk and get to know each other a lot. If your friend wants to make the game more ...er...interesting, I'd recommend Sexy Sims (http://www.sexysims2.com/). I don't play The Sims for lack of time, but a friend of mine downloaded a bunch of ridiculously funny acessories from that site, things like a masturbation chairs and sex dolls and stuff like that. Her games are HILARIOUS, let me tell you XDDD
Just get two males or two females to hug a lot. Then (assuming she has the SIMS 1), she'll offered the kiss option. KEEP KISSING. Soon enough, the 'move in' option will pop up, and presto. But, if she's looking for a 'marriage' balloon specifically for same-sex couples, alas, I am at a loss. This is the grand ol' US of A(ss) after all ;P
