Also, I have a question for those of you who know about Japan life. A kid who lives in Tokyo and goes to university in Tokyo too, would stay living at home or move to an apartment or dorm or something?

*yawns* So other than that, any of you have any Quatre fic recs or Fuji fic recs? (feel free to reply anonymously if it makes you feel better)

Hm, it depends on the person, but a lot of them do stay at home while going to university, if possible.

It would be a good way to save expenses to stay, right? so it isn't unusual? Thank you!! *glomps*

yep, it's not unusual, at all... especially since Tokyo is very expensive. >.<.

If you need more information on this (or student life in Japan in general) just let me know. ^_^

I agree with Haaramis. From what I've been told by my students and other Japanese people they only really move out of home if they go to university away from their hometown (and even then their parents pay their rent and living expenses; although it is becoming more popular for them to get part time jobs too). Once they've finished uni they usually move back to their hometown and live with their parents again until they get married; unless they are sent somewhere else in the country for work.

And they /usually/ dont pay rent, dont cook or clean, and their folks pay for their student fees upfront.

*nodnod* That makes sense. It's the same way here. I was just trying to make sure. Thank you for the information! *glomps*
