- First of all, Happy belated birthday to adam_jason. Unlike haraamis, I do tend to remember these things a bit late -_-;; Sorry. I just hope that you have a great day.

- I just posted a big rant reply in a ML. Things like empathy, Wufei's nosebleeds, characterization and Spanish numbers where discussed.

- I've spent the last couple of days working in annoying class projects. On the up side, I get to do an oral presentation tomorrow about the how imaginary of the Virgin Mary was based on pagan myths. Oh and I get to show what I geek I am by having the complete works o Flavio Josefo (I have no idea how to translate that name to English) at hand, in my bedroom library.

- One of my best friends is turning 21 tomorrow. I met in kinder garden, we were four and we have been good friends ever since. That's a long time and a lot of childhood, teenage and current memories.

- I need to tweak a chapter of Share my Thoughts and chapter 4 of Sandstorm. My darling beta reader *cough*Anne*cough* wants me to do that ASAP so I can write more Sandstorm. I keep telling her that I'm not to be stalked but she doesn't listen.

- hexadecimal00 has made me addicted to Initial D. *beats bad crossover bunny with a stick*

- Sorry I've been kind of away for a while. Even if I didn't comment, I've been reading your journals. I'm back now... I think.

Oh, I wish I were in that class! *cough* Um, and able to speak Spanish as well, of course. Or at least understand it. *g* Sounds absolutely fascinating! I've been really interested in the origins of Mary Magdalene recently, actually, but have done little to pursue the knowledge. I'm free for most of the summer; I should get on that. (Along with the thousands of other things I'm interested in, natch. *g*)

I like the class, well at least part of it. It's about nun's writings in Latin America in Colony times. Some things are really interesting, others not, but that's every class.

You know, after reading your comment, I sat racking my brain trying to figure how how I had only watched the OAV and not the series as you pointed out. After opening my streamload account, I realized that I had mixed up Initial D with Level C. *Flushes sheepishly*

While Initial D has several episodes, Level C only has the one OAV. I'm sure you can see how easily I mixed up the names seeing as they both have similar sounding alphabets.

My apologies for the confusion. Just for the record, I have watched a few episodes of Initial D. Quite interesting to say the least.

Do you have them in a streamload account? I would love to see all of it.

I liked your rant, too. It was a good explanation of the fine line between interpretation of a character and complete mischaracterization (which I'm always afraid I'm treading on). The whole empath/Space Heart thing has always been uncomfortable for me--yes, Quatre does mention the Soul of Outer Space a couple of times (once to Rashid and once or twice to Heero, if I remember correctly), but he doesn't bother to explain what it is. *sporks him* In fact, I think he said near the end of the series that Heero was the Soul of Outer Space.

*nods* that's true. Heero is the soul of outer space, Quatre has his space heart... And he never explains anything about them.
