[livejournal.com profile] arbaasanruth, this is your fault!

I haven't slept. It's 9 am, I have class at 2 pm (which I guess I'm skipping) and I haven't slept.

Why? you ask. What sort of unknown force would make me to stay up all night when I know I should be sleeping?

Fanfiction, of course.

Today, or yesterday - I don't remember - I decided that I was going to be brave enough and read pass that scary part in The Shattered Lands. Yes, I started it a while ago but I got scared and stopped. I decided to try again. [livejournal.com profile] darthanne was nice enough to hold my hand through the scary moments while I ran out of nails to bite.

Ruth, you need to put a warning with this fic, something that says that people shouldn't start reading unless they have time or they won't be able to stop.

I had to write something for class today. Is it written? No
I should be writing something for a friend. Did a write? A tiny bit.
I should have written more Sandstorm. How much did I write? About two paragraphs.

But believe me, it was worth it.

Now that I'm done with the ranting... *glomps Ruth* I love you. Thanks so much for writing this.

*walks away with a happy smile on her face*

I guess I should go to sleep now...

Didn't I tell you? Didn't I? Didn't I?

*grins*

I love Shattered Lands. It's one of my favourite GW fics. *sighs*

Yes you did. A lot of times actually. Good thing I listened. I simply loved the fic. Even with the scary part and all.

I think I need to go hunt Ruth now, excuse me.

Ah, Shattered Lands. I read it ages ago. it was one of those car crash fics. It traumatised me but it is so well written and so riveting that I just couldn't stop reading.

Yes, I think that's the best description of the fic. It scared me so much but there was no way I could stop. It's amazing.
