Shuichi was leaving. It was a routine they both knew well. Shuichi would ask Yuki to tell him he loved him, Yuki would refuse, and Shuichi would turn to the door… but he never reached it. Strong arms would wrap around Shuichi and a mouth, so close to his ear that he could feel the warm breath on his skin, would whispered the desired words. And Shuichi would smile and stay… and pretend to leave again the next day.

Heero fell in love with a boy. He hadn't thought love was possible but it had hit him when he least expected it. He still doesn't know very well how to handle it, but he thinks that as long as the boy is close to him, he can figure it out along the way.

Duo fell in love with a boy. He had been searching for love for a while, but he never thought he would find it with the boy in question. He discovered that being in love is a lot of work but it's worth it, as long as the boy is there with him.

They fell in love with a boy, and they wouldn't have it any other way.

Eiji likes to tickle. He loves hearing someone laughing uncontrollably especially if that someone is Oishi. Eiji likes to pin Oishi to the floor, and run his hands all over Oishi's body, while the laughter fills the room. Oishi always tells him to stop, but Eiji doesn't… not until Oishi manages to capture his mouth for a quick kiss. Eiji likes to tickle, but he loves kissing.

Quatre looks at the small silver scales on his desk. There are five golden coins on one side, and five copper ones in the other. People think that to achieve balance equal weights on each side are needed. They say Trowa and Quatre balance each other. However, people seem to forget that the weights individually don't affect each other. It's the bar in the middle that holds them together. Trowa and Quatre never let Wufei forget that.

Fast, fast, faster. They both look through their windows and give the other a taunting look. They push the gas pedal to the floor. The world speeds past them, but the other is still there, matching the speed, refusing to give up. Brake, downshift, turn, and speed up again. The end is near. One of them would be the first to brake, the first to slow down… the first to lose. The sound of tires screeching fills the air. They get out of their cars with a scowl on their faces.

Heero murmurs, "Another tie."

Quatre is already heading for his car. "Let's go again."

Keisuke loves the dace. He can lead as well as follow, watch and show. The trick is to have a good partner, someone who knows the steps but can improvise, who enjoys the dance as well, and pushes the other to the limit. Tonight's partner isn't new. They've danced together before, and Keisuke is keen to do it again. He looks at Takeshi through his car window, and whispers, more to himself, "Lets dance," while he presses the gas pedal and speeds up the mountain.

Momo glares at Echizen. There's no way he'll drop this point. He can't let the brat win, not today.

"Dunk Smash!"

The ball hits the floor. The return is weak and hits the net. The ball stays on the net for a second before it falls.

Echizen and Momo look at each other, the first grinning and the second glaring.

Momo lets out a curse. He has to pay for the burgers… again.

After classes they like to get together in Quatre's room. Heero looks through the window, watching the people walk below him, and inventing stories for each of them. Wufei closes his eyes and takes a nap. He always sleeps better when his friends are near. Meanwhile, Trowa plays the flute and the music helps Duo think. He says he always gets his best ideas when he hears Trowa and Quatre play. Quatre doesn't play this time, because as much as he would like to join Trowa he also likes to observe, so he stands with a cup of tea and contemplates Trowa's beauty once and again. Trowa knows Quatre's watching and that's why he plays. He wonders if Quatre knows he's watching too.

Flash. Trowa kisses him, lips and eyes closed, and knees trembling nervously. Flash. Quatre is sleeping, his hands around the pillow, a smile on his face and a single name being mumbled once and again. Flash. Trowa drinks the wine, and smirks. He licks his lips slowly and gives him one of those looks. Flash. He's on his knees before Quatre. He stares at Quatre's naked form and begs for a kiss. Flash. Trowa smiles at him from inside the lion cage and invites him in. He walks inside. Flash. They kiss each other, lips and eyes opened, knees still trembling, but this time with anticipation. Flash…
