2) Choose a book, movie, show, etc. you have never heard of (or, in a pinch, at least one you know nothing about aside from the name) that has at least ten fics listed.

3) Read only the first page of story summaries.

4) Using what you have learned from these summaries, describe what this book/movie/whatever is about. Be as silly as you like, but ONLY use whatever you just learned...

I thought I would pick an anime I've never seen, have no idea what's about but I have heard some of you talk about it. So, if you have seen it, you can laugh at my assumptions.

Full Metal Alchemist. (WARNING: Mmm... there might be spoilers in my description, but I'm not sure)

Edward (Ed for short) has a brother named Alphonse (Al for short) and they are the Elric brothers. I guess they want to become, or are masters in Alchemy, and use it for good or something. I think Ed dies at some point but he resurrects (or maybe that was just wishful thinking on the part of the author?). That could happen in episode 51, maybe?

There seems to be a war because there is an army involved and a Colonel Mustard (like the one on Clue) who appears to be on the brother's side but is a mayor pain in the ass.

Roy seems to get mentioned a lot with an exclamation point beside his name, so I assume he is the hyperactive type, and he drinks coffee, or at least has a coffee mug. Other characters include Rose, Winry, Hawkeye, and some personifications like Havoc, Furies and Envy.

I guess it's because of the alchemy but there seems to be a lot of crossovers with Harry Potter, or maybe that's just because everything in existence has to have a crossover with HP. *shrugs*

*giggles* That should be "Mustang". The military guys are all named after military fighting vehicles. It's described here (http://www.fullmetal-alchemist.com/facts.php), if you're at all curious.

That part they didn't get right. ^_^ That sounds a lot more like Ed than Roy.

*dies laughing* The one crossover fic I have read was FMA/GW. Duo ends up in the Elric brothers' world. It's really very good (Find the Moon by Sol).

That was a lot of fun. I'm glad you picked FMA. It's probably my favorite series, ever. ^_~

No series is valid until it has been crossed with Harry Potter. You know a series has hit the bigtime when it gets to Hogwarts.
