speak and spell
You're a Speak & Spell!! You nerd, you. Just
because you were disguised as a toy doesn't
mean you weren't educational, you sneaky
bastard.

What childhood toy from the 80s are you?
brought to you by Quizilla

Well, Hex said it Nerdy is Cool,

Oh and, Hex, I have a pressy for you. I suck making icons but I thought you would like it anyway.

In other news, I saw Troy.

I drooled after I saw Brad Pitt. I drooled at his sexy strong arms, at his perfect abs, at the golden skin and blond hair that looked just perfect with his clear eyes. I watched him move in the battle scenes, how the wind brushed his hair and how the armer and clothes looked so perfect on his skin. Yes, I drooled after seeing Achilles and after seeing Hector too. But I must say...

... I
... hated
... the movie!

Yes, yes, this is my literature student part talking but as much as I enjoyed the effects and good battle scenes, my mind (and my mouth since I do talk in movies) was screaming, no, No, NO!

Sad, it was just sad... Definitely not nearly as bad as Van Helsing but sad too. So much potential... all lost.

I absolutely refuse to see Troy because of the complete bowdlerization they did of the epic. It's one thing to adapt a literary work for film. It's completely another to do so without a single ounce of respect for the source material.

I'm saving myself for that film on Alexander the Great. I'm hoping that that film wouldn't turn out to be an insult to people's intelligence.

I had a nasty feeling that Troy would be crap. Even Mandy, watching the ads for it, when I told her what you'd said in here, thought the same.

We won't waste our time on it.

Hope you're getting some sleep tonight *Hugs* The amount you had last night really wasn't enough.

*slips into mother mode and waggles finger*

And yes, I've had years of practice at that and I'm really good at it *giggles*

That's the smart thing to do. When I left the theater I kept ranting and ranting about what a terrible thing they had done.

I agree. That's why I was so aggravetad by the movie. Let me just say a couple of things I kept ranting about. "The war of Troy didn't last two weeks!" "Briseis didn't kill Agamemnon!" That will give you an idea. And I have more of that, a lot more.

I'm saving myself for that film on Alexander the Great. I'm hoping that that film wouldn't turn out to be an insult to people's intelligence.

I didn't know about that one. I hope I don't end up disappointed again.

*nods* Such a bad movie, I've seen worse, I've enjoyed worse but this one just hit a nerve.

Hope you're getting some sleep tonight *Hugs* The amount you had last night really wasn't enough.

The weird thing is that when you have vacation, you are supposed to sleep. That isn't quite happening. *hides*

*slips into mother mode and waggles finger*

*gulp* I'll try to get some sleep today.
