Look at my new icon. Isn't Dorothy cute?

Here are ten things I've done that you probably haven't. (Man those took a long time to think)

1. Ridden a Camel in the desert.

2. Watched the dawn in the top of Masada

3. Had salsa lessons from a cool Cuban, at 2 am in the Malecón.

4. Done aerodium. (basically you put on this clown outfit and you are placed over a plane turbine and you fly.)

5. Two friends once held me upside down over a shark tank. They were quite disappointed I wasn't scared at all.

6. I've fired and M-16 (Stolen the idea from Gina because I'm running out of things to say).

7. I lost an emerald ring in the Jordan River while kayaking.

8. I taught one of my college teachers to read and write Hebrew.

9. Helped build bunkers.

10. Climbed into the crater of an inactive volcano.

In other news, I'm feeling a lot better. I'm even getting out of bed now and going to class. Wish me luck!

If you tell me you've had a couple dozen marriage proposals, I'll start calling you Mame! You have lived, and what a fantastic experience so far.

*feels ignorant*

Who or what is Meme? ... Just in case, no, no marrige proposals.

*smiles* I've been fortunate enough to travel to some cool places, so that's been good.

I'm an old movie kind of person... so, "Auntie Mame" is a story about a fabulous woman who lived her life to the fullest in everything she did. And she acquired a string of admirers from all over the globe. It was a Broadway play in the 50's that was made into a movie in 1958. If you're interested, you can see the write-up here (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0051383/plotsummary). One of the constants in her life was doing what wasn't expected of a young woman in the 20's and 30's.

1. Ridden a Camel in the dessert.

~curious~ What kind of dessert was it? I mean, are we talking ice-cream, apple pie, tiramisu, devil's food cake....?

Well, I have ridden a camel. The up and down part is the hardest.

I would have to go with cheesecake, just because I like it so much.

*laughs* I always manage to confuse desert with dessert. I think I'll never ever get it right ^^;;

Oh yes! You feel like you are gonna fall down or something. But they are fun furry smelly creatures.

~laughs~ The way I remember is that I wouldn't mind having two desserts, but I'd only want to cross the desert once. (Especially if a certain blond Arab was on the other side of that desert. ~winks~)
