"Really, Tezuka, I don't need any help," Fuji said, managing a smile. He ignored the pain on his arm and started walking towards the clubhouse, trying to keep it as still as possible.
"You are not." Tezuka was using that voice, the one that promised that there would be some freshmen running lots of laps in the morning. Really, it was as much Fuji's fault as theirs. He should have noticed someone had left a water bottle by the side of the court before he had stumble on it while trying to return one of Tezuka's shots.
He had landed on his arm, the left one thankfully, but even so, Tezuka had refused to finish the match. He had been scowling, well as close to a scowl as Tezuka got, which wasn't much anyway, and very few people even noticed. "I was going to play seriously," Fuji said.
"No, you weren't."
"You are no fun, Tezuka."
They reached the clubhouse and Fuji, as always, sat and unashamedly watched Tezuka change. The first time he had done that Tezuka had stopped and just returned Fuji's stare until some other club members walked in. Little by little Tezuka had grown used to it and sometime last week he had actually started to undress a little slower. Fuji had asked him if he was putting on a show but Tezuka hadn't answered.
When Tezuka was done Fuji moved to his locker, just to have Tezuka stand right behind him. "You might hurt your arm if you change. It isn't necessary."
"You don't want to see me naked?" Fuji's voice was low, barely above a whisper.
Tezuka reached pass him and took Fuji's regular's jacket from the locker. Carefully, he placed it over Fuji's shoulders.
Fuji looked up at Tezuka, ready to tease him a bit more but stopped. There was something weird in Tezuka's eyes, something that he didn't understand until Tezuka's lips were placed awkwardly over his.
Their noses bumped and Fuji smiled into the kiss. "We need practice," Fuji said when they parted.
"After we go to the doctor," Tezuka replied firmly.
Fuji smiled. "Tezuka, you are no fun."
In reply, Tezuka only smirked, a promise of many kisses to come.
