Take a look a your LJ friends list, then list up to ten things you want to say to ten different LJ friends... DO NOT state who these people are. DO NOT confirm nor deny any "comment speculation". Then tag five people.
- You know, I saw you comment in friends journals before we even spoke, and I thought you were so very nice. Then we finally "talked" and friended each other, and I was really happy about that because I discovered that not only were you nice, but also warm, and sweet, intelligent, a great person and a wonderful writer.
- We kind of go way back. You are bouncy and you never fail to make me smile. You have that type of personality that makes me feel better no matter how down I'm feeling. You are also very smart and I love talking and playing with you. You are not only fun, but also a wonderful friend.
- The first time you IMed me I stared at the computer, blinking and feeling all happy because, OMGyouweretalking to me! I discovered, very early on, that behind the BNF was an amazing friend. You are always there for me, even if I'm not good at the sharing thing. You don't know, maybe because I don't "talk" much, but you always make me feel better. You've helped me so much, in so many ways, not just my writing. I feel honored to be able to call such a great writer and intelligent and caring woman, friend *hugs*
- I wibbled a bit before friending you. I wanted to, but I felt intimidated because you are you. A wonderful and popular writer, and I didn't know if little old me would fit in. Turns out I didn't need to wibble at all. You were a sweetheart from the get go, and made me feel welcomed in your friend list. You've been wonderful ever since, you have this little gestures that always cheer me up when I need them the most. I'm really glad I didn't wibble forever.
- Your words always get to me. Be it fic or just a post about your life, you have that special gift that makes me really listen to what you are saying, and think. Your words always linger, even long after I'm done reading them. I admire you a lot, because you are such a strong woman, very intelligent, capable and knowledgeable.
- You are always so very encouraging. You give feedback to my stuff constantly and it always makes me smile to know that people are reading what I do. You are also a wonderful writer yourself. You should write more. I love your stuff. You always have encouraging words for people when they feel bad, and that constant presence and support makes you so very special. And you are, a lot.
- You are one of those writers who can make everything sound lyrical. You make the language flow beautifully, and the stories always speak to the heart. You can make the story feel, not just transmit those feelings, and that's a rare and extraordinary gift. You are very encouraging with my stuff too. Your feedback always makes me happy because it seems so in depth, like you saw everything the story had to give and then some, like you make the story so much better than I thought it could be. Thank you!
- With you, it was instant harmony. From the first time we talked its like I knew you and I would get along just fine. It makes me want to meet you in person so very much, because it's so easy to imagine the way your hands move or the faces you make when we talk… I would like to know if what I imagine is even a bit accurate. You are also great at being there, letting me know that there's someone around for me. Your writing also makes me very happy, but you know that ^_^ I stalk you enough.
- When I friended you, I didn't really know you. I don't remember exactly how I found your journal but I remember reading some interaction between you and another person and thinking how sweet and kind you were, and still are. I just needed to get to know you. So I friended you, and as expected, you were wonderful to me. You are one of the most generous people I know, and passionate for what you love. I'm really grateful to have you as a friend, even if I don't say it often enough.
- Back then, when I was a newby in GW and very nervously posted my first fic, you sent me some encouraging feedback. It made me feel so welcome. I've read your stuff and fangirled you, so having you sent feedback to me, meant so much. I've always valued your opinion, and you have been great at giving me advice when I was trying something new or different, at least for me. I've always felt honored that you consider me a friend and that you don't think I'm a bad writer. I know you are very sincere with your opinions, and not easily impressed. I've been questioning for a while what you saw in me back then… I don't know, but I'm so glad that you did. *hugs*
I tag whoever wants to do this.
So the thing about reading these in other journals is that I keep wondering if maybe one of the comments was meant for me, and then I remember not to be so pretentious, there are many other people who the comments could be for. *shrugs* Quite weird. So anyway, if you guess correctly on your own comment, I'll confirm it's you.
