Meme and Help me?

WIP meme: (By now I'm sure you all know what's about.)

* * *

"Trowa Barton, are you trying to imply that I'm some kind of tease?" I pretended to look offended.

* * *

Taking a step back from the ship, Heero stared at it as if it was cursed. "Inanimate things can't fly."

* * *

One thing kept repeating in his head over and over; 'stupid, Quatre Winner, you are a stupid.'

* * *

Wufei looked up at Sally and smiled. An invisible barrier that kept them apart had just broken, and he was glad.

* * *

"Could you possibly tell me why would you try to steal parts from the principal's car? I did not raise you to be a thief, Quatre. You are lucky she didn't report you and your friend to the police."

Help me?

I'm starting my thesis next semester and I need to start gathering research sources for that. I want to do it on "Paradise Lost" and study its references on the Bible. So, I was wondering if any of you know any books that might be helpful for the subject or could recommend a critical edition of the book? Since I need to order it from Amazon and shipment here cost more that the actual items I want to get all the books in just one package so if you could recommend anything I might want to buy it would be really useful. Thanks a lot in advance.

[Edit] I'll be kind of away for the next few days so forgive me if I owe you a mail or something. I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible.

Any excuse to go search the used book store! It would very likely be an English edition paperback, if that would be useful to you.

That's very nice of you to offer. *stares at the icon* I love that icon.
Anyway, I think I'm ordering a paperback edition from Amazon. I just wanted to know if there were good essay books I could get. And yeah, searching used book stores is great!

I _think_ I might have something from when I was studying it in school, but I'm not at home right now (as in I'm in Oklahoma rather than Canada) so I won't know until I get back next week. If that's still going to be enough time, email me at dysis-faye@shaw.ca and let me know, and I'll see if I can find it (if it is what I'm thinking of, anyway). Excellent choice of topics, though! :)

I'm glad you like the topics and there is still plenty of time. *hugs* Thanks a lot for the offer.

To add to my comment below - there's a Norton critical edition that has some modern and historical commentary here (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0393962938/qid=1101107503/sr=8-3/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i3_xgl14/104-7575574-8899155?v=glance&s=books&n=507846) that looks interesting. Norton's got a really good reputation (I have some of their compiliations).

While I was googling for a particular book (which appears to be out of print - I thought I'd try to find it before recommending it) I came across this site (="http://www.udel.edu/UR/bennettbib.html"), and more specifically to what you're researching, this bibliography (http://www.udel.edu/UR/bennettbib.html#Bibl). There might be some books on here that you will find useful. Good luck!

This is great! Thanks a lot! The critical edition looks really good so I think I'll go ahead and order that one. The extra bibliography is great too. I'll have to search in the uni library for books and articles but having a clue of what to look for is a big big help. I can't really thank you enough.

I'll also take you up on your offer to talk someday. I like discussing stuff too, it helps clear the mind and get good ideas. I'll have to be in a couple of weeks though since I have evil finals and I'll be kind of busy. But After that, I'm so gonna take you up to that offer. You realize that by helping me you just condemned yourself to a year of me annoying you about the topic, right?

*looks cute*

Hey - I checked my lit books, and the one I was thinking of was Chaucer, not Milton. I'm sorry I don't have anything to lend you - but if you're stuck or want to chat about it, email me. :) I _adore_ Paradise Lost, have taught bits of it in Lit, and spent some time studying it - so if you want to bounce ideas, I'd love to talk. Good luck with it!
