Admire my artistic skills!

This is why I write instead of drawing.

Actually, I'm quite proud of it. For me, this is like painting the Mona Lisa...

*goes back to wasting time*

Looks pretty good for something drawn with a mouse. How good are you at drawing by hand?

[identity profile] misanagi.livejournal.com 2005-04-22 06:40 am (UTC)(link)
I suck very much at drawing by hand. Really, some of us were never meant to draw, ever. :)

I thought it was well given that it is drawn by mouse. I'm only left to wonder what in fact the brown/tan/yellow thing actually is because I'm dumb and let my imagination take me past the obvious.

I liked it, it was cute.

I think it's a boat. Something like a canoe.

[identity profile] misanagi.livejournal.com 2005-04-22 06:44 am (UTC)(link)
Yes! That's it!

[identity profile] misanagi.livejournal.com 2005-04-22 06:42 am (UTC)(link)
*laughs*

The brown/tan/yellow thing was supposed to be a boat... supposed being the key word.

And I can't draw any better by hand. Really, it's one of my many short comings.

*Giggles* That's a very nice loaf of bread on the river bank! ^___^

Really, though--everybody is bad at making drawings with programs like that. Still, I wouldn't be disappointed to see more fics than pics. LOL--JK!

*pouts* no one likes my boat...

And I'm bad at drawing with every implement. I can't even draw a decent stick figure.

*goes back to writing because she doesn't suck so much at it* :P

Okay, this is my interpretation:

First there is the sea. Primal, eternal. It's roiling and almost alive in itself.

Then there is a...geoduck. A humble bivalve which merits a place in the foreground as a precursor to all life on earth.

Then there is some green stuff, which represents...uh...life. And stuff. There are also daisies.

The splashes of icky brown splodgy things in the foreground must represent humankind's taking over of the earth and the subsequent pollution of it all, which is followed by the icky blue-grey splodgy things in the sea, which represents...um.... Everything dies. Woe.

I flunked Art History. Sorry.

*dies from laughter!*

Actually, you are the only one who got the deep symbology of my masterpiece. Well, everything except the geoduck, that was in fact a sleeping bag.

Muahahahahaha! Oh I like this intepretation.

*giggles insanely*

Very art deco...I could tell that was a sampan from the first stroke onward! Ha! I'm that good! Random paint splotches represent the fickleness of nature...Daisies......hm. Swirly blue things in the sky as a loose reference to van Gogh! Aha!

[identity profile] misanagi.livejournal.com 2005-04-22 06:51 am (UTC)(link)
See? And people think I can't draw, but you got the deep meaning of my art. :P

[identity profile] kedriaa.livejournal.com 2005-04-22 09:41 am (UTC)(link)
Nice! Hehe, I recognise it's a boat. ^_^ And I do like the final touches of the splotches at the end. Very entertaining to watch it unfold.

*.... wonders if she should have play ....*

Yay! At least someone can tell it's a boat.

And yes, you should play with it too, and share. Sharing is important.
