23. Hands

Quatre's hands were paler than Duo's, and while Duo always had some dirt under his nails from his work, Quatre's hands were always manicured; but at the end, they were the same callous hands that piloted the Gundams, that killed and saved, that ended a war, and that for Duo and Quatre, no matter how much good they've done, would always look bloody.

Okay, I shall admit now that I haven't exactly been reading all these sentences (and hey, I'm supposed to be writing an essay right now, so I shouldn't've read this one) but I did just read this...and it's a bloody good sentence! ^___^

I'm really enjoying these. Your sentences are just perfect.

Like this one; yes they are different but also similiar. And Gundam pilots, like all soldiers, no matter their background, wouldn't be able to rid themselves of the blood on their hands.

*says "Ditto" to the other comments* That's why I'll never see any of the gundam guys as being "opposites" of each other. Complementary yes, but not opposites. They'll always have a special bond between them because of their shared experiences.
