3 Scenes and an icon

These are the prizes I owe from the guess the fic line meme I did a couple of days ago.

Shining
GW. 3x4. G. For [livejournal.com profile] razberrycreme.

Smiling was easy; it was really second nature to him. His father would have preferred him to be stern but Quatre liked to make people shine, and they always did a bit brighter whenever he smiled. It was okay if they didn't smile back, though most of them did, because Quatre could see and that always said a lot more than a smile.

Trowa's lips remained in a thin line on their first meeting but Quatre saw the spark anyway. The second time the spark was brighter and it shone more and more with each of Quatre's smiles. He knew he was addicted to Trowa's brightness so when Trowa smiled back for the first time Quatre almost missed it. This time he didn't smile back but pressed his lips to Trowa's and tasted the curved corners of his smile. And Trowa shone brighter than ever before.

Watching
Initial D. Takumi/Ryosuke. G. For [livejournal.com profile] haraamis.

Ryosuke is sleek. That's the best word to describe him. He tackles the corners with such grace that people who don't know better would think it's effortless to drive a car at such speed and manage to make it move as if it is your own arm.

Takumi is a natural, he knows that, but try as he might he's never quite like Ryosuke. He won, yes, but he still looks up to Ryosuke. Sometimes he thinks that at least half of the reason he tries so hard to win is because of Ryosuke. Because he watches his every move, his every turn, the expression of his face when he finishes a race, and Takumi hold his breath every time waiting for Ryosuke's judgment.

Their relationship is all about cars. It's the bridge that connects them but Takumi wants to know more, to be more. As he grips the wheel he allows himself one look in the rearview mirror. At the signals he speeds up, all his focus now on the race. Behind him, he knows Ryosuke is watching.

Thursday
GW. 3x4. College not-an-arc Series. G. For [livejournal.com profile] dentelle_noir.

Trowa's eyes followed the movement of the watch hands. He was leaning back on the wall, his backpack casually resting on the floor beside him. The big handled moved and Trowa swallowed a sigh. Quatre was late. He let his eyes move away from the watch and glared at the still closed door of room 205.

It was seven minutes and forty three seconds before the door opened and several students exited the room. Quatre wasn't among the first. Trowa twitched. Another twenty seven seconds before Quatre walked out, stopping at the threshold and giving Trowa a curious look.

"I wasn't expecting you," he said, walking up to Trowa.

"You sent me a message," Trowa replied simply.

Quatre's mouth curled into an amazed smile. "You came all the way here because I said I was bored in class and wished you were there?"

Trowa shrugged and wasn't surprised when Quatre kissed him. So what did it matter if he was supposed to be in Russian Novelists class right now? He'll go another time, that's why they have one every Thursday. Besides, going in twenty minutes late would just be rude. Yes, he thought as he walked out with Quatre for a beer, he really had no other choice…

And here's your icon, [livejournal.com profile] dentelle_noir I hope that you like it:

Oh and I can't forget this: If there are one or more people on your friends list who make your world a better place just because they exist, and who you would not have met (in real life or not) without the internet, then post this same sentence in your journal.
*hugs f-list*

Thank you so much! I haven't written much of Initial D, about two ficlets by request and that's it. I'm glad that you liked it.
