Keeping Warm
"You look like you were swallowed by a sweater," Heero said as he walked into the living room with two cups of hot chocolate in his hands.
The sweater had to be at least two sizes bigger than what Duo needed, covering his knees and his hands.
"Cold," Duo said simply, not moving from his cuddled position on the couch.
Heero handed him a mug and Duo took it with both hands.
"Move over." Heero sat beside Duo, pulling him closer, one hand around Duo's waist, the other holding the mug. He rested his chin on Duo's shoulder and sipped his chocolate slowly.
"I bet we look like a Christmas postcard." Duo laughed.
"There's no tree," Heero pointed out.
"You know what I mean."
Heero could imagine Duo rolling his eyes. "Yes, I do," he said. He always knew.
