44. Heaven

Duo would never admit, not even to himself, that the reason why he often dragged Quatre away from work to have some fun was because, after what they had done, he didn't believe that they would go to heaven; life was probably all the happiness they would get, and Duo wouldn't let his best friend throw that away.

Poor Duo, taking such a big responsibility. I think Quatre would hug him so tight, to know that Duo cares that much about him. These two are such awesome friends. I love the way you're writing them.

*blushes* Thank you! I'm so glad that you like these. I really like to think that all the pilots would be very good friends, each with a special/ different relationship with each other. Quatre and Duo, I think they would be very protective about each other, in many different ways. They would be subtle about it, but yet, they would know their friends is there for them, always.
