44. Heaven

Duo would never admit, not even to himself, that the reason why he often dragged Quatre away from work to have some fun was because, after what they had done, he didn't believe that they would go to heaven; life was probably all the happiness they would get, and Duo wouldn't let his best friend throw that away.

That was truly lovely. I like how Duo is not only concerned for his own afterlife, but Quatre's as well, especially since it looks like Quatre would likely work himself into the ground if given half a chance :P.

Duo is worried for all of them, much more than he could worry about himself. They are family. And you are right. Quatre needs Duo to stop once in a while, or he would keep going until there was no more of him to go on.
